Although this collection has already released, I wanted to make this blog post anyway. Glisten & Glow usually keeps permanent to semi-pemanent collections, and will always let you know when something is discontinued. The Workout Warrior collection will be around for quite a while, so sit back, grab a coffee, and enjoy the swatch thoughts!
Please note that I used the Glisten & Glow Top Coat on all of my swatches, and the Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber when necessary (and I mention where I do use it). Both of these were also gifted to me.

treadmill temptress
DESCRIPTION: A medium gray crelly polish loaded with a rainbow of iridescent flakes.

Application Recommendations
COATS: 2 coats is plenty!
BASE COATS: Your preferred base coat is perfect! No staining or nail line visibility.
TOP COATS: I would highly recommend glitter smoother for flake-filled polishes like these due to high potential of drying with texture. It also makes the light reflect off the flakes much nicer! Don’t forget your normal top coat.
TIME: Dries very quick!
EXTRA NOTES: This polish is very squishy and applies like a jelly even though it’s technically a crelly. It makes for a very nice application. I don’t know if this one would dry with texture, and to be fair I think it would’ve a little bit, but I applied glitter smoother anyway; I like my flakes to look encased in glass! And speaking of flakes, these are BEAUTIFUL. They are as shifty in my photos as they are in real life. As for the name, I truly am a Treadmill Temptress as I cannot go for my runs outside right now – too humid and hot!
gym & tonic
DESCRIPTION: A cerise pink jelly polish loaded with color shifting shimmer that shifts red/pink/orange.
MANICURE DETAILS: Three coats with a glossy top coat.

Application Recommendations
COATS: I recommend going up to 3 coats for maximum opacity and evenness.
BASE COATS: Your preferred base coat is perfect!
TOP COATS: Your preferred top coat is perfect!
TIME: Dries very quick!
EXTRA NOTES: This is a very sweet and gentle pink despite being so saturated! I think its shimmer softens it to the eye. I’d call the base color as a soft bubblegum pink. I will note that I had to up to 3 coats to make the polish opaque and even on my nails, but it does get there!
cardio queen
DESCRIPTION: A magenta jelly polish loaded with a rainbow of iridescent flakes.

COATS: 2 coats is plenty on the nail!
BASE COATS: Your preferred base coat is perfect!
TOP COATS: I highly suspect you’ll need glitter smoother for this one too in addition to your normal glossy top coat. Glitter smoother also makes the flakes look like they’re encased in glass or resin!
TIME: This one seems to dry a tad bit slower than the other polishes in the collection, but nothing out of the ordinary.
EXTRA NOTES: This polish is JUICY! I don’t see anyone needing to go past two coats with this formula. The color is lovely and it’s almost touching on a deeper raspberry pink. I’m training to do a 5K at some point this year, and this one is a contender for wearing while I run!

EXTRA NOTES: I think I said this in the Kathleen & Co Care Bears blog post about the pink base with blue shimmer combination, but I’ll say it for this polish too: anytime someone makes a purple with blue shimmer, I am a fan. This is no different. It is just such a flattering combination, and the purple base itself is actually very flattering, and I don’t think I have a shade like it in my collection! It’s a staple for a reason.
hustle for the muscle
DESCRIPTION: A medium shale green crelly polish loaded with a rainbow of iridescent flakes and blue to green color shifting shimmer.

Application Recommendations
COATS: This is definitely a one-coater, but you may still need 2 coats if you have long nails!
BASE COATS: Your preferred base coat is perfect! No staining or nail line visibility.
TOP COATS: I would highly recommend a layer of glitter smoother underneath your normal top coat due to the flakes.
TIME: Dries very quick!
EXTRA NOTES: I did recommend a layer of glitter smoother as it does seem to dry with some texture, but not a lot. I mainly recommended it, however, because I think flakes can sometimes be hard to see with such an opaque (crelly) base, and having that layer of glitter smoother can make them pop more.
leg day lover
DESCRIPTION: A brownish purple jelly polish loaded with color shifting shimmer that shifts blue/purple

EXTRA NOTES: Oh, this one is so lovely and very unique! I don’t think brown nail polish gets enough love, and this color almost reminds me of those 90’s – early 2000’s brown lip liners. This is my top pick of the collection (though not my top pick exercise day)!

I think if I had to choose two top picks in this collection based on uniqueness, they’d definitely be TREADMILL TEMPTRESS and LEG DAY LOVER. The flakes in TREADMILL TEMPTRESS are just insane… I have never seen anything like it before. And the warm brown base with cool-toned shimmer of LEG DAY LOVER is scratching the right itch in my brain.
