Glisten & Glow November Offerings

(All polishes in this post were gifted to me in exchange for swatch photos, as well as Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber and Top Coat; all thoughts are my own)

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve made a blog post. I had a lull in polish PR and was working on content for a nail care brand, so it’s been a minute. However, I am so excited to share all of Glisten & Glow’s November offerings for 2025! Here are the list of upcoming new offerings:

  • Epilepsy Awareness Charity polish
  • 4-piece Winter Collection (magnetics)
  • 2 Black Friday Exclusive polishes

I will have release details and prices on each of these offerings in their sections below.

Please also note that I upgraded my photos from being taken on my iPhone to a new Nikon camera while swatching through these offerings! The charity polish was taken with my iPhone, and the rest were from my upgraded set.

Charity Polish: Hope Shines On

Hope Shines On is a vibrant purple jelly polish loaded with color-shifting shimmer that shifts blue/purple/pink with purple reflective glitters.
I am wearing it in 3 coats with Glitter Grabber & Top Coat.

Application Recommendations:

  • Coats: 2-3 coats; your preference!
  • Top Coats: Glitter smoother & top coat are a must.
  • Nail Art: Beautiful on its own or as a base for nail art.
  • Time: Dries quickly but glitter smoother will make it a longer mani.

This is an absolutely beautiful polish! My husband loves this one. I couldn’t stop staring my hands with this one on. Hope Shines On is such a vibrant and sparkly polish, yet the reflective glitters feel very delicate. It’s not a sparkle bomb, I would say, but the shimmer and glitters are very well balanced between each other. Purple lovers: this one is perfect for you. You will need a glitter smoother as it dries textured due to the reflective glitters.

This is the Epilepsy Awareness Charity polish. Glisten & Glow is collaborating with Addy (@playfulpolishpal) & Cydney (@prettypolishedphalanges) to offer Hope Shines On. It is currently available on the Glisten & Glow website for $13.00. $2.00 from every polish sold will be donated to Angels of Epilepsy.

Winter Quad (1/4): Freeze Frame

Freeze Frame is a frozen sage green magnetic polish that, once magnetized, reveals purple-to-blue shifting shimmer.
I am wearing it in 2 coats with Top Coat.
From thumb-pinky: ring magnet, cateye, ring magnet, velvet, cateye.

Application Recommendations:

  • Coats: 2-3 coats; your preference!
  • Magnetization: I prefer non-velvet styles as the movement of the magnetic pigment is incredible!
  • Top Coats: Dries very flat, so glossy top coat is a must!
  • Nail Art: Beautiful on its own or as a base for nail art.
  • Time: Magnetic polish will take a long time if magnetizing all layers.

Now we’re moving on the Winter Collection, which is 4 magnetic polishes with similar magnetic pigments. The pigment in all of these is so sparkly and bright, and all will be hypnotizing under bright lights, like in your kitchen. I’ll be honest: because these polishes look so frosty, I wasn’t really ready to wear them yet as I was fully still in autumn mode. However, when I put the first one on, I swear I was ready to put snowflakes all throughout my house!

I’m starting with my favorite: Freeze Frame! I am a green girlie through and through, so I had to start here. The frosty lichen color here is so flattering, and it looks kind of grungy to me, too. I love how it paired with my henna tattoo (thank you, State Fair). I would say that Freeze Frame‘s magnetic pigment sparkles the most under bright lights in the collection, and it looks like frozen dew in the morning. And, the accompanying blue shimmer is super lovely paired with the sage green base.

For magnetization, all of these polishes will magnetize really easily. The magnetic pigment also re-wets pretty dramatically with the Glisten & Glow Top Coat, so you will NEED to remagnetize your top coat. Dispersal is likely to happen with this formula — I think the pigment is a bit heavy. So, make sure to magnetize a bit longer than you normally would. I ended up magnetizing from 1.5-2 mins per nail and felt that was good to hold the pigment, including top coat.

I prefer non-velvet styles for Freeze Frame, especially the ring magnet, because the velvet and unmagnetized versions looks very similar — this also speaks to how bright the polish looks unmagnetized! I also think the velvet style swallows the beautiful blue/purple shimmer, whereas non-velvet styles can let it really shine.

The full Winter Collection will be releasing November 19 @ 6 PM EST for $55.00. Individual polishes from this collection will be $14.00 each.

Winter Quad (2/4): Polar Opposite

Polar Opposite is a frozen medium purple magnetic polish that, once magnetized, reveals copper-to-yellow shifting shimmer.
I am wearing 2 coats with Top Coat.

A lot of the commentary of this one will be similar to what I wrote for Freeze Frame in terms of formula and magnetization recommendations. However, the colors that make up this polish make Polar Opposite feel different than the rest of the collection. I guess that makes sense with its name! I wouldn’t call it a totally cold and frosty polish, but it feels like a warm hug on a very cold day. It feels like brown leaves on the ground, with the smell of cinnamon, and a cold breeze in your hair. It’s a cozy scarf on a walk downtown. Therefore, I don’t think it’s frosty per se, but I do think it’s a nice compliment to the rest.

Once again, I would probably refrain from velvet style with Polar Opposite, but I do think the shimmer stands out a bit more here than in Freeze Frame. The copper background of this polish is so lovely with the purple magnetic pigment, and the salmon shimmer is a nice warm compliment.

The full Winter Collection will be releasing November 19 @ 6 PM EST for $55.00. Individual polishes from this collection will be $14.00 each.

Winter Quad (3/4): Glacial Goals

Glacial Goals is a frozen periwinkle blue magnetic polish that, once magnetized, reveals a purple-to-pink shifting shimmer.
I am wearing 2 coats with Top Coat.

Shoooooot, this polish… This one is outstandingly beautiful. The blue base compliments the pinky shimmer so well. Glacial Goals feels like a true (blue) sister to Freeze Frame in that the colors just work. It feels like deep, icy water, or ice skating on Canadian lakes. I don’t know… this collection has me feeling poetic, I guess.

The formula is the same gist as written in Freeze Frame, but I do think the shimmer in Glacial Goals is visible in the velvet effect, akin to Polar Opposite.

The full Winter Collection will be releasing November 19 @ 6 PM EST for $55.00. Individual polishes from this collection will be $14.00 each.

Winter Quad (4/4): Sub Zero Hero

Sub Zero Hero is a frozen light mauve magnetic polish that, once magnetized, reveals red-pink-orange shifting shimmer.
I am wearing 2 coats with Top Coat.

Last, but very much not least in the Winter Collection, is Sub Zero Hero. I thought this would be the least impressive for me, but I think this is my second favorite in the collection! Sub Zero Hero is so deliciously grungy and paired so well with my henna tattoo. It is very metallic and very cool. Its magnetic pigment is SUPER shiny in a way I’ve not seen before — it almost seems like it emits its own light. It will shine even in shaded conditions, even unmagnetized. The rosy shimmer is so complimentary, too, and softens it to make it look delicate at the same time. This baby has LAYERS to it, and I think everyone needs this one.

Once again, the formula and magnetization recommendations are the same as the above polishes, but it’s similar to Freeze Frame in that the velvet style will swallow any shimmer. I would advise staying away from that style as I’m a sucker for any shimmer.

The full Winter Collection will be releasing November 19 @ 6 PM EST for $55.00. Individual polishes from this collection will be $14.00 each.

Black Friday Exclusives (1/2): Retail Therapy

Retail Therapy is a mulberry jelly polish loaded with color-shifting shimmer that shifts purple-pink-green.
I am wearing it in 3 coats with Top Coat.

Application Recommendations:

  • Coats: 3 coats for full opacity & color.
  • Top Coats: Your normal top coat!
  • Nail Art: Beautiful on its own or as a base for nail art.
  • Time: Dries quickly, but will most likely require 3 coats for a longer mani.

This is the first polish of two being released for Black Friday 2025! Retail Therapy, with its base color and large particle shimmer, almost reminds me of a sugar plum! It’s gotten me fully into the wintry mood now.

I don’t really have notes on the formula, other than it applies beautifully like all Glisten & Glow polishes do. It dries fast, so once you do one coat on all nails, you can immediately start into the next. I do recommend going up to 3 coats as this is a jelly, and I think it looks the most even in opacity with the 3rd coat. I didn’t try this, but I think this would look so beautiful with a matte top coat.

The Black Friday Exclusives will be releasing November 19 @ 6 PM EST for $12.50 each.

Black Friday Exclusives (2/2): I Came, I Shopped, I Sparkled

I Came, I Shopped, I Sparkled is a black jelly polish loaded with metallic flakes in shades of green, blue, silver, and color-shifting ghost flakes that shift red-pink-orange-yellow.
I am wearing it in 2 coats with Top Coat.

Application Recommendations:

  • Coats: 2 coats is plenty.
  • Top Coats: You may want a glitter smoother if any texture bothers you. + your normal top coat.
  • Nail Art: Beautiful on its own.
  • Time: Dries quickly but will be a longer mani if using glitter smoother.

The other Black Friday exclusive polish is I Came, I Shopped, I Sparkled. This polish is so much fun and Glisten & Glow makes amazing flake polishes. This is the same spiel I give with all of Glisten & Glow’s flakey-bombs: even though it’s full of good flakes, the formula is very smooth and I didn’t need to fix any bald spots. I didn’t use Glitter Grabber with this polish, and I think you can get away without it. However, if any texture at all bothers you, you will want it or another coat of a juicy top coat. I went up to 2 coats and got full coverage there, and it was already very plump on my nails. Therefore, I don’t see why anyone would need to go up to a 3rd coat.

The polish kind of reminds me of a dark bag full of present bows! The flakes look somewhat metallic but I love that for the holidays. Jill did an amazing job with making these polishes not look like general holiday polishes, but still match the holiday vibes perfectly. Flake lovers: you don’t want to miss this one!

The Black Friday Exclusives will be releasing November 19 @ 6 PM EST for $12.50 each.
