I’m coming in a bit late with this blog post for Hella Handmade Creations, but it is better late than never! This is a very fun post for me as I get to introduce beautiful charity polishes AND two new brands to the blog!
If you don’t know what Hella Handmade Creations is, they are another collaboration group of makers that come together and sell exclusive polishes. It is very similar to Polish Pickup, but instead, this preorder window lasts for a week from the 14th to the 21st on the month. And, maker’s create polishes based on their own themes and inspirations, and they often run on a series. The September shop for Hella Handmade Creations features a charity section, where makers can create polishes and have some of those proceeds be donated to a cause of their choice. In the listings below, the second listing for each brand will be their charity polish.

EXTRA NOTES: I actually gasped when I put this on my first nail! It is extremely glowy. Anyone who loves a good glowy blue shimmer is sure to love this one. The holo is definitely there but it is on the gentler side.

EXTRA NOTES: This is my top pick for the month! I am in love with this polish. There are so many colors and the shifts are so easy to see! And, it is incredibly sparkly. The rainbow of colors is slightly muted, but I think that makes it perfect for the fall.

BASE COATS: This polish is sheer at any coats, so if seeing your nail line bothers you, use a nude creme or blurring base coat.
TOP COATS: Your normal glossy top coat is perfect!
TIME: Dries very quick!
EXTRA NOTES: This is a lovely, delicate sheer polish from Hula Moon. The base is beautifully smokey and the shimmer makes it quite delicate. This formula was quite plump at two coats on the nail, so I would probably suggest stopping there, and I don’t think you’ll reach opacity at three coats either.

TOP COATS: Your normal glossy top coat is perfect! I used a thin layer of glitter smoother only to make the flakes have a “trapped in resin” look; it dries with no texture.
TIME: Dries very quick!
EXTRA NOTES: The flakes are very sparkly in direct light, and the little rainbow glitters certainly help with that. I went up to three coats to see if the base color darkened any more, but I don’t think it makes a huge difference. A third coat will certainly give you more flakes for more sparkles.

EXTRA NOTES: This is my other top pick from this month’s offerings (and there were so many good ones)! I am in awe of the metallic crystal sparkles, they are totally enchanting and I’m not sure I’ve seen them before! Plus, I am such a sucker for a hot pink. This formula is a dream and it’s another simple, beginner-friendly polish.

EXTRA NOTES: If you have kept up with recent Rogue Lacquer releases, then I would quantify this polish as a cousin to the Cloud Chromes trio. Its holo is more subtle than the trio but the vibes are the same. It has a super formula and is perfect vampy purple for Halloween!

EXTRA NOTES: This is such a classy sparkle bomb! I absolutely love the addition of the holographic glitters to add those magnificent rainbow sparkles. This is such an easy polish to use and apply for those who want to be blinged out to the max.
